Yibai Duan (Rosa)

Rosa sees her role as a healthcare provider as a way to serve and better her community. Her interest in a holistic approach to health and disease prevention was a perfect fit for the extremely broad reach of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, particularly as our society deals with a dangerous reliance on pharmaceuticals to manage health issues.

Rosa’s formal training includes a solid foundation in clinical-based acupuncture. She was trained in gentle and safe needling techniques that can address a very wide range of issues—from minor aches to complex ailments such as autoimmune disorders and chronic pain. Rosa also brings profound interest for issues of women’s health. Her expertise encompasses areas such as pain management, infertility, dysmenorrhea, PCOS management, weight regulation, cosmetic acupuncture, and geriatric health.

In addressing diverse conditions, Rosa integrates an array of needling techniques—among them, scalp acupuncture and motion acupuncture, for which she is clinically certified. Moreover, she highlights the lifestyle and nutritional counseling in her comprehensive therapeutic approach. She is a board member of the Washington East Asian Medicine Association and aspires to strengthen the acupuncture community within our state.

Rosa leads an active life with many interests including golf, dancing, hiking with her dog, painting, or cherishing moments with close friends.
