Personal Experience & Biography
Dr. Su developed a deep appreciation for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at an early age through her family’s medical heritage. Although she later earned a doctoral degree and worked in cancer research in the United States, her passion for holistic healing never wavered. Witnessing the important role TCM played during the SARS and COVID-19 pandemics further strengthened her commitment to serving patients through compassionate, integrative care.
Dr. Su completed her professional training at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine, where she earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She is a licensed acupuncturist and registered practitioner of Chinese medicine in the state of Maryland.
Dedicated to clinical excellence and lifelong learning, Dr. Su has pursued advanced training in women’s health, fertility support, prenatal and postpartum care under Professor Dr. Dongyun Liang. She further trained in soft tissue injury and musculoskeletal pain management with Dr. Decheng Chen who is the inventor of motion acupuncture. She also studied medical Qigong under masters and teachers Zunfeng Li and Qiduan Li, integrating mind–body regulation and Daoist principles of holistic balance into her clinical practice.
