Motion Acupuncture at the Changchun International Medical & Health Expo: On-Site Free Clinics and Global Academic Exchange

On December 7, the 2025 Changchun International Medical and Health Industry Expo and the High-Quality Development Conference of the Changbai Mountain Ginseng Industry opened at the Northeast Asia International Expo Center. Senior national, provincial, and municipal leaders, along with academicians in Traditional Chinese Medicine, attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

The conference featured multiple defining characteristics, including specialization, international scope, leadership, timeliness, and strong public benefit. The U.S.-based Motion Acupuncture Group was invited to participate in technical exchange and exhibition activities related to Motion Acupuncture.

This marked the second International Health Expo held in Changchun and also the second time Motion Acupuncture participated in the event. In December 2024, Motion Acupuncture made its debut at the expo, where its remarkable therapeutic outcomes earned strong recognition and positive evaluations from industry experts, as well as widespread interest and support from professional peers.

At this year’s expo, Motion Acupuncture engaged not only in academic exchange but also showcased its specialized needles, publications, and related products. A dedicated Motion Acupuncture booth was established within the U.S. exhibition area, featuring Motion Acupuncture instruments and key publications, including Motion Acupuncture Therapy and Motion Acupuncture Medicine. In addition, on-site free clinical services were offered, attracting many patients who came specifically to experience Motion Acupuncture and personally witness its impressive clinical effectiveness.

This Health Expo served not only as a window for the public to better understand developments in the medical and health industry, but also as an important platform for the presentation and promotion of Motion Acupuncture Medicine. Through this event, more people gained insight into its unique advantages in the rapid treatment of pain-related conditions.

Professor Chen led his students in on-site free medical consultations

Throughout the three-day expo, Professor Decheng Chen, the founder of Motion Acupuncture, led his team in maintaining a continuous presence at the exhibition area, presenting his patented invention—Motion Acupuncture needles—as well as the authoritative publication Motion Acupuncture Medicine to attendees. Guided by his original mission of making Motion Acupuncture therapy more accessible and beneficial to patients, Professor Chen remained actively involved on the front lines, personally supporting and safeguarding the dissemination and advancement of Motion Acupuncture throughout the event.

The exhibition area attracted a large number of patients who traveled from near and far to learn about, explore, and personally experience the therapeutic effects of Motion Acupuncture. The atmosphere on site was vibrant and energetic, at times becoming so crowded that people were shoulder to shoulder—clearly reflecting the strong public interest in and recognition of Motion Acupuncture. Patients who received treatment were visibly delighted, having witnessed the immediate and remarkable effects of the therapy firsthand.

Professor Decheng Chen personally provided free clinical consultations for patients seeking treatment, vividly demonstrating the immediate therapeutic effects of Motion Acupuncture. While treating a patient with heel pain, he explained the underlying mechanism in a clear and accessible manner, noting that the condition is not only related to the local heel area but is also connected to the posterior myofascial line along the Bladder meridian. This force line extends upward to the cervical spine, representing an integrated, whole-body biomechanics issue rather than a purely localized problem.

Based on this principle, Professor Chen selected three Motion Points located at the neck, lower back, and calf for needle insertion. He applied signature techniques such as “limited lifting” and “maximal lifting,” while guiding the patient through Motion Acupuncture’s distinctive “movement with needles” approach to release fascial tension and rebalance the posterior force line. Following the treatment, the patient’s heel pain was significantly relieved on the spot, prompting warm applause from the audience.

Motion Acupuncture not only attracted strong interest from patients but also drew the attention of medical professionals within the field. A physician from the Netherlands traveled specifically to the exhibition booth to engage in in-depth discussion and learning with Professor Decheng Chen regarding Motion Acupuncture therapy.
