Min Lu

A licensed acupuncturist in Maryland, Dr. Lu Min is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She graduated from the Department of Industrial Design at Tsinghua University. During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she witnessed the remarkable effectiveness of acupuncture in treating sports injuries, which sparked her deep interest in traditional Chinese medicine. She later attended Virginia University of Integrative Medicine, where she earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Lu currently practices as an acupuncturist at Montgomery Medical Center in Maryland while also operating her private clinic, Five Elements Acupuncture & Wellness Center, where she provides comprehensive Chinese medical care to her patients. She studied under renowned gynecology expert Professor Wang Biqin and is a team member under the guidance of Professor Guo Zhiqiang, a mentor at a national-level Chinese medicine heritage studio. Dr. Lu specializes in treating infertility, ovarian dysfunction, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menstrual disorders, and menopause syndromes.

In addition, Dr. Lu excels in using traditional Chinese therapies such as acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, tuina, and stress management to alleviate common issues like depression, insomnia, allergies, and more. She helps patients restore physical and emotional balance, achieving a healthy and pain-free life.
