My name is Kusakabe/akiko (formerly known in Chinese as Xiaojun Yang). I studied abroad in Japan in my early years and obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics. However, due to my deep passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, I later returned to school in Japan to pursue professional medical training.
I obtained Japan’s national acupuncture and moxibustion practitioner license and also earned certification as a registered pharmaceutical sales specialist under Japan’s pharmacy system. By integrating acupuncture and pharmaceutical knowledge, I strive to provide patients with comprehensive and high-quality healthcare services.

Kusakabe (Yang) Acupuncture Clinic is located near Arashiyama in Kyoto, in the center of the Koryuji Daiei-dori Shopping Street. The clinic is situated on the third floor of the century-old Kusakabe Pharmacy, a family-owned business inherited from my husband’s family.
