Personal Experience & Biography
Dr. Hong Ji started to study Chinese and Western medicine in 1980. She has both an MD and a Ph.D. in medicine in China. Since 1985, she has practiced as a medical doctor at Shanxi Chinese Medicine Hospital and later at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. After many years of practice in China, 3 more years of postdoctoral training at the medical school of the University of Manitoba were added to her career.
Currently, she is a registered acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner with the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada (CMAAC) and the Manitoba Professional Acupuncture Association (MPAA).
With continual study and practice, Dr. Ji helps people with pain management (headaches, migraines, neck and back pain), sciatica, stress management, fibromyalgia, mental illness, infertility, menopause, digestive problems, post-stroke rehabilitation, and many more conditions. Dr. Ji is passionate about maintaining and improving your health and well-being through a holistic approach.
