Congratulations on the official publication of the English version of “Essential Motion Acupuncture” in the United States

[New York] The English version of “Essence of Motion Acupuncture” compiled by Dr. Chen Decheng, a Chinese acupuncture expert, was officially published in the United States recently. This book is another monograph on Motion Acupuncture after “Motion Acupuncture Therapy” (People’s Medical Publishing House, published in Beijing, China,2020). This book systematically introduces the theory of Motion Acupuncture, special acupuncture methods of Motion Acupuncture, as well as dynamic detection and needle movement methods. This book further consolidates the theoretical basis of Motion Acupuncture.

This book consists of seven chapters, which are:

Motion Acupoint: Treatment points identified through dynamic detection and palpation based on the patient’s chief complaint. These are essential to the therapy’s effectiveness.

Motion Acupuncture Needle: A patented acupuncture tool with five-edge spiral structure.

Motion Acupuncture Techniques: Using “traction with needle retention,” which quickly relaxes muscles and fascia to relieve pain.

Needle Retention Dynamics: Also called “dynamic needle retention,” this involves active movement during needle retention to joint position and function.

Motion Acupuncture Theory: Motion Acupuncture aims to “soften muscles and adjust joints”by relaxing soft tissue and restoring joint function through combined traction and movement with retained needles to relieve pain and restoring normal joint function.

Muscle Anatomy and Dynamic Detection: A key step in locating treatment points, supported by 51 diagnostic flowcharts to ensure accuracy.

Movement with Motion Acupuncture Needles: This section details full-body movement protocols from head to toe accompanied by instructional photographs that highlight the key elements of each movement.
